SongScribe is designed as an offline-first application. The following data is stored locally on your device and is NOT transmitted to our servers:

  • Songs and Lyrics: All song content, chord annotations, and metadata you create
  • Audio Recordings: All recordings you make within the app
  • App Settings: Your preferences, theme choices, and configuration
  • Setlists: Your setlist organization (Pro feature)

You have full control over this data. It remains on your device unless you choose to export or share it.

Data We May Collect

When you use certain features, we may collect limited data:

Purchase Information

  • Transaction records for in-app purchases (processed by Apple)
  • Subscription status (to provide appropriate features)

Analytics Data (Optional)

If you opt in to analytics, we may collect:
